Visual design is always also a form of politics: it creates visibility, forms narratives or questions norms. This is also clearly evident in club culture - for example in photographs that stage, accompany, market or document artists.
In this workshop, we will develop photographic strategies with which the identities of musicians can be depicted beyond stereotypical role models. How can an image create closeness - without clich\u00e9s? How can attitude be shown - without repeating familiar codes?\u00a0<\/p>

Visual Soundscapes - Immerse yourself in the music with your eyes<\/b><\/h3>

A VJ workshop in which sound is translated into moving images and participants learn how to bring music to life visually.
In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of the art of VJing. It is an introduction to the different tools that can be used and the creation of content. The importance of time, storytelling and the impact of space on immersion will also be discussed.<\/p>

Mindset Over Gear - What it takes to produce music<\/b><\/h3>

This workshop is about the question of what it really takes to produce music - beyond expensive equipment. We'll look at mindset, motivation and self-organisation, talk about blockades in the studio and which tools help when you're stuck. Topics such as workflow hacks (e.g. the 10-minute rule), dealing with self-doubt, finding your own sound and concrete strategies on how to actually finish tracks will take centre stage. The workshop will also cover mental health, time management, community instead of competition and how collaboration can release new energy. The workshop is aimed at beginners as well as advanced musicians.<\/p>
