Breaking the Ideal #2 - Visual Strategies Beyond the Image
How do visual identities emerge that not only show musicians, but also protect, strengthen and position them - especially with regard to gender, expression and belonging?
In this workshop, we develop holistic approaches for gender-sensitive design: from colour and typography concepts to visual languages and social media strategies.
What does it mean to think of visual identity as a means of self-empowerment - not as a stylish label, but as an expression of attitude, care and difference?
In the spirit of the day's motto Music is Medicine this is also about visual healing: What spaces do we create through design? Which body images do we avoid - and which do we consciously show?
