DJS ARE DEAD AFTERPARTY - with Ruede Hagelstein & C-Rock - DO, 30.04.2025
Ticket type:
Admission from 22:00
A Berlin DJ takes us on tour. It starts promisingly at the end of the 90s at the relevant nightlife venues and ends unerringly in a midlife crisis. Suddenly, a virus brings everything to a standstill. But an unfair offer awakens his killer instinct. He prepares to make his way to the top again, while death is rampant all around him. And that's supposed to be funny? Yes, I suppose it is. "The novel was written so that I could read it myself," says the author himself.
Ruede Hagelstein has already seen a lot and he has now written some of it down and will be reading some of it for us on 30 April at MOMEM, the Museum Of Modern Electronic Music.
But that's not all: together with DJ colleague C-Rock, who is also the host of the evening, we find out how the idea for the book came about, how a DJ feels after countless gigs in Berlin's Watergate and whether there is life after the Panoramabar?
And as if that wasn't enough for a spring evening in the city on the Main, the two will also be playing at MOMEM - and there are sure to be a few tracks in the set that we've come across before in the stories.
DJs ARE DEAD, live and all.
